How many people can play?

2 to 5 people maximum can play in our rooms at the same time. Should you want to play with 6 or more players, you have to split up and book the rooms accordingly in separate games. Our recommendation for the best group size is for 3-4 players per team/room.

Cancellation terms! What happens in case of no show?

Please note that free cancellation is possible before 72 hours prior appointment in written form via e-mail; in case the money has been transferred already you will receive a voucher for the same amount paid. Cancellation before 24 hours prior appointment will be charged with 50% of your booking; in case the money has been transferred already you will receive a voucher for the same amount paid. Cancellation within 24 hours before appointment will be fully charged.

What should I wear?

No special clothing is necessary. You can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.

How can I pay?

You can pay like the following:

Which languages do I need to know?

A minimum understanding of English is required.

Is there an age-limit?

Children under 14 years can only play if accompanied by an adult. The minimum age for the room ZOMBIE LAB is restricted to 10 years, for the rooms MR. FOX 'SECRET STUDY, PRISON and BUNKER the minimum age is 6 years. Please be aware that the puzzles are complex and maybe not suitable for small children.

How can I book a game?

Online reservations can be made at https://foxinabox.at. Please choose the room and time you would like to play and soon you are ready to play an adrenaline-loaded game at our location.

How much does a game cost for 2, 3, 4 or 5 players?

One game for the sly fox category (light blue game slots on booking calendar) is priced at EUR 73 for 2 players, EUR 83 for 3 players, EUR 93 for 4 players and EUR 103 for 5 players. If you choose the lazy fox category (dark blue game slots on booking calendar) the prices are EUR 77 for 2 players, EUR 87 for 3 players, EUR 97 for 4 players and EUR 107 for 5 players.

How long does it take to play a game?

Playing time is exactly 60 minutes. Please arrive in time at our location as you will receive a short instruction. If you can manage to arrive on time it helps us to avoid delays for later games. Total stay at our venue can last up to max. 1,5 hours.

How do I know if my reservation has been accepted?

After choosing a game you will receive a confirmation via email with the reserved room and time.

I would like to give a game to someone as a gift.

That is possible, of course. You can easily order a gift voucher on our homepage. The voucher can be picked up at our location at Schmalzhofgasse 1B/II for cash or after online payment you will get the voucher automatically by email.

Are you really locking us up inside a room? How can I get out?

Safety first! No, none of our doors are locked. The door stays only closed for the game's atmosphere but due to safety reasons unlocked. You always have the option to get out and leave the room on your own immediately even without depending on anyone else outside (e.g. gamemaster) in case necessary by pushing the door easily horizontally or by normal door handle.

Are the tasks always the same or do they change from time to time?

The structure of the game usually remains the same. Teams that are not capable of solving a game at the first try can play it again.
